MEET THE OWNER
Chef Zoagie started Zoagies back in 2011 after making a hoagie sandwich with some fried fish his wife, Tonya, cooked for dinner. After eating the sandwich and realizing how great it was, he decided to get others to try it to get their opinion. Everyone who tried the sandwich loved it. Eventually he started frying the hoagie roll, as well as the meats inside. He decided to merge the name hoagie with his childhood nickname, Zoke, and Zoagies was born.
Chef Zoagie's magnetic personality is as much a draw to the Zoagie's Food Truck as the great tasting food. Customers come from all over to witness him singing and dancing while preparing their food. They also love when he records them for his social media accounts, getting their reviews of their food and praising them for being a customer. Zoagies has since expanded their menu from their original Zoagie (Deep Fried Hoagie) to also include Zalads (salads), Zibs (ribs), Zrab Cakes (crab cakes) and desserts. This makes eating at Zoagies a mouth-watering and entertaining experience.
